When you’ve been friends with someone for a long time, conversations don’t always have clear beginnings or endings and that’s the beauty of it. You just pick up right where you left off, no matter how much time has passed. Some might say that style doesn’t work for a podcast, but somehow, Yale makes it work perfectly.
I was thrilled to be a guest on my favorite funny man’s podcast. I had so many questions I wanted to ask him because I could listen to Yale Cohn tell stories all day. I even learned he interviewed Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth in what turned out to be their final interview together, which absolutely blew my mind.
We ended up talking a lot about art, the power of empathy, and the importance of true friendship, two things Yale Cohn has in abundance. I love him, and I loved every second of our conversation.

Also I thought this pink smiley face I saw in Iowa City and thought it gave off Yale vibes!
